Party of three, waited 50 minutes to be seated, not the 10-15 minutes quoted. Half the seating at this location is outside, it was 104, no thanks. You can keep your misters. Inside its counter seating, 2 & 6 seat tables. All the 4 tops are outside. Might be time to rethink the layout. The three hostess crew wasn’t getting it done. Waitress was great, 1 star for service was for the wait to be seated

A Breakfast Worth Waking Up For

If you’re on the hunt for a solid breakfast spot that delivers both comfort and creativity, Butter Pancakes and Cafe is a name you’ll want to remember. I recently stopped in and sampled a range of dishes—from omelets to grits to pancakes—and came away impressed by both the quality and the care behind the food.

Let’s start with the omelets. I tried two: one loaded with bacon, sausage, ham, onions, and jalapeño cheese, and another classic combo of bacon and cheddar. Both were excellent. Generously portioned and packed with flavor, these omelets didn’t skimp on the fillings or the cheese, and everything was cooked fresh. If you're a fan of savory breakfasts with a little kick, that jalapeño cheese is a standout.

But let’s be honest, “pancakes” is in the name, and they live up to the billing. I sampled two varieties: the Strawberry Chocolate Chip and the Cinnamon Roll. First off, these pancakes are fluffy, golden-brown, and perfectly cooked. No dryness, no burnt bottoms. Just pure, pillowy goodness. The toppings were generous, especially on the cinnamon roll, which was simply delicious, gooey, and addictive. The strawberry chocolate chip version was also excellent, though the pancakes themselves are so good that they honestly don’t need much dressing up. Fresh, flavorful, and satisfying on their own.

The grits were creamy and smooth—different from the more traditional, coarse style some may expect. If you’re a fan of Southern-style creamy grits, you’ll likely enjoy them. But if you’re looking for that old-school, gritty bite, just know what you’re getting into.

As for beverages, the cafe offers a decent selection, though I’d love to see a broader variety of soft drinks. A few more options there could elevate the experience even further.

Bottom line: Butter Pancakes and Cafe serves hearty, satisfying breakfast fare with fresh ingredients and generous portions. Whether you're craving a savory omelet or a sugar-dusted pancake fantasy, there’s something here for everyone. Worth the visit—and the calories.

First time here and it was amazing. The wait time for an early Sunday morning was not as long as I expected. The service was great and the server was so nice and friendly. The food portions were bigger than expected and worth the price. I would suggest that if you are in the area , and are wanting a great breakfast, this is the perfect place!!

Wait can be long, but the turnover is pretty quick. Great breakfast options!

Quick breakfast and seating on a busy Sunday. A breakfast place with no decaf substitute on specialty coffee drinks. The food was good.

FDD !

I've been coming to Butters for about 8 years (this one is newer). I can honestly say that they're by far the most consistent restaurant between all locations.

Consistently Amazing!

Pros: By far, the best breakfast restaurant in the country! (at least the 46 states that I've traveled).

Cons: Good things come to those who wait!
This place is always busy (especially weekends).
