Like any other cafe rio, but employees can be very rude, a line worker seemingly intentionally messed up my order due to being annoyed that I took a minute to figure out what I wanted. She didn’t give me an option to add/change anything, was short with my partner and I, and did the exact opposite of what we asked for! Super uncomfortable, and a waste of money unfortunately! In a plaza with so many great options, I’d definitely recommend choosing another restaurant!

Catering delivery came a half hour early than planned. Ordered for 21 people but there was enough food for 35-40 people.(not enough tortillas). Chicken was dry, not enough spice in the food and just way too much! Did we get someone else’s order maybe?

The chicken was burnt so bad i couldn't get past the burnt taste and it was hard like jerky. And the habenero sauce was about as hot as water... no heat at all.Cafe Rio did reply and I believe it was not the normal experience. I will update my review next time I am in.

We ordered online take out for lunch. Most of the food was ok but we were missing a couple extra sauces that we had ordered and our nachos had no cheese.
The food is awesome.big portions delicious flavors and fast service and the prices are very affordable its my 1st time to visit cafe Rio at happy valley area I love it SHOULD THE OWNERS OPEN ONE AT PRESCOTT AZ AREA,?? THANKS I highly Recommend food delicious.

The new manager, Azemina, is amazing and the sweetest! We come here weekly and have definitely seen improvement all around due to her dedication! Our order was perfect, burritos and tacos were full. Thank you for taking care of us Azemina!

Food is never hot. I asked them to run it thru their broiler thing again, but it barely melted the cheese. Servers seemed to be inconvenienced at the smallest requests. The syrup was out in the coke machine and trays were overflowing with ice. The most non-Mexican food this side of the border, imo.
