“Just wanted to thank Ocho Rios, you made our family party a hit with the full pan of Jerk Chicken, simply delicious. The chicken was ready before the time we were to pick it up. Service was wonderful. The pricing was spot on. The pan disappeared so fast seeral of us were trying to find bags to put some in to bring home. Thank you for adding that special something to our family party this past weekend. Everyone was asking where we got the chicken from, and i gladly told them. Will most definitely be going back. Thank you again Antonio Engram“

“Hands down the absolute best Caribbean food I've had here in AZ. I tried everything and I don't like spicy nothing but even that was good. The best fried plantains ever, didn't have that banana taste too it. And those oxtails is on a whole new level. I didn't even know the place existed until I was invited by the boss man, the food tasted like I love you frfr. I will forever choose that spot and recommend folks, my wait time was not that long neither time I went. I might just go today I just made myself hungry thinking about it lol.“

“The atmosphere and service were lovely. The food was all tasty. My only disappointment is that while I appreciate that they are serving pan-African food, there is a lack of authenticity in some dishes. The flatbread is pita bread but called chapati, two very different types of flat bread. Dairy, dips, and cheeses don’t play much of a role in traditional East, West or South African cuisine and I was hoping for more regional African influence when I took my work team there on a recent visit to Phoenix. The food and experience were enjoyable and I would go back, but reset my expectations to include the more broad interpretation of the restaurant concept.“

“Place was very busy and they seemed short on staff to accommodate .. had to wait quite a bit for hostess to even come to the front to seat us. Server was very nice and did pretty good .. had to ask for items multiple items from staff. Food was very yummy and so were drinks. Very loud and hard to talk even at our small table for two.“

“First time at Sweet Land Cakes. Had the Pavo which had shredded turkey and cheese with a choice of mayo and/or mustard on it. Very flavorful though a bit dry! Bread was very good, slightly sweet and soft. The service was friendly but it took awhile for the lady to come out of the back. Pastries were very good as well.“

“I loved the decor! The food is delightful! The fufu is soft and sticky and soaks up and gravy and tames a bit of the kick and the heat was perfect where it's not over powering. I loved the digital menu board and that it is a simple menu. It's an order at the counter type restaurant. The service was wonderful in my experience. Of course it's a bit hidden in a very mini strip mall off of 19th/Glendale. As they say "hole in the wall restaurants tend to have the best food".“
