I recently stopped by Cartel Roasting Co. in Phoenix and it quickly became one of my favorite coffee spots in the city. From the moment I walked in, I sensed a serious dedication to craft, beautifully roasted beans, precise pour-overs, and a warm, inviting space to relax or work. Cute little coffee shop with a walk-up order window and bar, perfect if you want to sit outside or grab something on the go. The vanilla latte was a bit on the bitter side but still pretty good overall. Service was fine, not super chatty like we are, but nothing to complain about. Definitely worth checking out when you’re in Phoenix!
Cartel never misses. The coffee is rich, bold, and clearly roasted with care. Service is top tier friendly, fast, and genuine. I grabbed a seat in the small outdoor area and loved how it struck a perfect balance: private enough to relax, but still wide open to the buzz of downtown Phoenix. A perfect spot to sip and soak in the city.
