Convenient Cartel Coffee location located in Terminal C of Sky Harbor Airport. Small selection of sandwiches/snacks for the plane ride. I ordered a Chai with Honey, it was delicious but I wish it was bigger. It was about 60% ice for $9. I feel like it’s more of an airport issue than a Cartel Coffee issue, as their other locations have never done that before. Regardless, Cartel is a tasty coffee shop no matter the location.
I was expecting airport coffee. But what I got really blew me away. I usually get flat whites are other types of coffee without sweetener when I know it's a good place. But an airports in Starbucks or whatever I get a mocha super sweetener covers up the bad. I got a mocha here and I tasted the good coffee coming through. Milk steamed very well. It wasn't too sweet but perfectly balanced. A great mocha, especially for an airport. Wish I tried the plain latte.
Cartel is the best in PHX and it’s a travesty that they’re getting booted from Sky Harbor. Just had a Cortado and overnight oats and it was simply delicious.a perfect start to the day.
