This was such a fun immersive experience! From the moment we walked into the train we really felt like were moving. All of the bartenders said “welcome aboard” which was a great fun touch. We got seated at the bar and loved chatting with our bartender Remi who was very knowledgeable on drinks and shared the story behind each category of drinks. We learned that it's best to come here with a group of 2 or 4 to get a booth/table seating. We were a group of 3 and were seated at the bar. They started us with complimentary champagne for my birthday, which was very sweet. I personally love bars that have a mocktail/non alcoholic section, which this did. The visuals of riding a train through NYC was a nice, immersive touch.
Platform 18 is a unique experience as a quaint speakeasy it tells two stories. Attached to the Century Grand it has a Chinese style platform you can enjoy customized drinks and snack foods. The platform itself features a menu that takes you on a journey with a menu that matches the scenery.
