Charlie Mae's Soul Food

Came during lunch hours and of course building locked up and lights out. No one there and no one answers the phone. Hours clearly say open till 9pm. Black folks we GOT to do better.

I don't like the kiosk only interaction and the food was not worth the time or money. It's kinda like a restaurant vending machine.

Oh my goodness they need stop posing that weak salty fish as cat fish. The food is definitely over priced Terrible. Yaw should be shame of yaw self charging people all that money No wonder yaw hiding in the back. Calling it soul food.

Pork ribs hard as heck. Not fall off the bone meat.
Mac and cheese has a funny taste.. thank goodness they didn't give me a full bowl of Mac and cheese. The slaw did not have a great smell... so i didn't even attempt.
Didn't even finish the plate . So sad... I have been wanting to try this place... Maybe the brick and mortar will be better.

You should have seen the size of the Pulled Pork sandwich and side for 15.00 I got. It was for a toddler..This is a perfect example of people not wanting to support black owned businesses because you don't care..How and Why would you think to charge that much for a small a sandwich like that and fish wasn't nothing to write home either. The side was bigger than the sandwich...Where they do that at..Disgraceful!!!

The food here is absolutely delicious and seasoned to perfection! While they don't offer dine-in service, you can conveniently order ahead online or use the kiosk when you arrive.

The banana pudding is 🔥🔥, and the lemonade is just as good! I usually order the fish dinner, but honestly, everything I've tried has been great. If you're looking for flavorful food cooked to order, that hits the spot, you won't be disappointed.

Atmosphere and everything is clean, very good service. Food just seems like they just added salt and said it was soul food. Games was just blocks of yams chopped up with a little bit of sauce not even sweet. I do not think they know what soul food is. Mac and cheese was the best thing but processed cheese. Yams I will give it a 2 out of 10 fish I will give it a 2 out of 10 good crisp everything else was not right

This is not black peoples soul food. Tater sauce isn’t right. Not even sure I was given catfish. Catfish has a certain texture to it. This ain’t that. Macaroni and cheese just ain’t right. Peach cobbler ain’t right and I was to scared to touch the potato salad after everything else. Save yourself money. I just wasted $40 and still have to find something to eat.

If I could give no stars I would I paid $50 for 2 plates and even included a TIP and you would think they would have the decency to cook my food properly and I got all batter no fish and the fish I did have had bones and skin on it scales was peeling from the batter I would not recommend this soul food at all unless you want to waste some money

Tried this place for the first time got the whiting fish and one of the pieces of fish was straight batter no fish inside what so ever we definitely won’t be back and would not recommend this place at all and the fish had bones and was just not enable

I had to use a touch screen to order food. No real people and menu is confusing. Overpriced for small servings its good food food though. Wont come back due to lack of service and inconvenience.
