It's been awhile since I've been to Chico Malo and I remember it being a lot better. We shared a Cesar salad and the blue crab enchiladas.. the salad was pretty average and the main course lacked any real flavor plus the tortilla was crunchy every other bite.. we will be back but maybe order something different? The ambience, service and house margaritas 5 stars!!
Our group met at Chico Malo for dinner, and everyone left impressed with both the food and the atmosphere. The menu offered plenty of unique options, the portions were generous, and the service stayed attentive throughout the evening. It was a fun place to spend time with friends.
Great food, great service, great vibe! I'd been wanting to go here for some time and it did not disappoint. The posole was wonderful and the corn tortillas were the best I've ever had. They were accommodating to my vegan friend and she enjoyed her dish as well. Servers were prompt and friendly. It wasn't busy at lunch at all. I'd like to come back and try dinner.
