Cien Agaves Tacos & Tequila

I tried to order a plain steak burrito with Queso cheese drizzled on top. it came without the cheese so when i asked if i could get cheese on it, the waiter said yes but then came back saying they can't do that. I simply asked to remove the burrito from my bill. margaritas were good.

Good overall experience...food, service and environment. Frozen Margarita was a little sweet and carnitas meat was on the dry side. But, the chicken, shrimp and fish tacos were delicious. We also really enjoyed the guacamole.

Tje service was EXCELLENT. The drinks, chips, salsa, guacamole, and quest dip were great. The carne asada and chicken taco meat was dry and the rice was hard and crunchy. The enchiladas were very Spivey and that was not noted on the menu.

Atmosphere was good however, the food was not. I would give the food a 1/5 rating. We had chips, salsa and a queso dip with pork and it was very bland. Then we ordered 4 different kinds of tacos which also... were bland and not very flavorful. We will not be coming back.

Food had potential. I had the chicken fajita bowl... came out cold. Second one came out cold again. I'm sure it's be decent if the chicken came out hot like typical fajitas.

Stopped in before going to the movie theater - what a nice surprise! We had the green chile crisp appetizer and it was very flavorful. I ordered the Combo #5 with Shredded beef taco, green chile cheese Enchilada, with rice and beans. My husband got the three taco plate. Everything was delicious! Our server was attentive, friendly, and personable. Highly recommended!!!

Usually love going here. Made reservations 3 days in advance for 6:30. Asked for a table and not a booth and they called and told me I would have to wait 30 minutes for a table but booth could seat party if 5 now: everyone was hungry so they crammed us in a booth AGAIN!! I give up!! I have a knee issue and can't sit in a stupid booth!!!

Everything was pretty mediocre as far as Mexican restaurants go. Our waitress was in a bad mood and made the experience less enjoyable. Food was ok - not bad - not great. Was hoping for a much better experience.

Went at 6pm it was incredible loud, hard to hear each other when talking in loud voices. Wish food had better descriptions such as if something was spicy or if servers could tell you something is going to be spicy then we would have chose something different. The service is pretty horrible, got forgotten as soon as we got sat. Ordered a drink they were out of but didn't find out until 15 min after ordering. Service was probably the biggest downfall.

We were a group of 6 ladies. Appetizers were good. Everyone enjoyed the lunches. Our service was good until it got busy & only 1 server. I don't know how he handled all the tables. Took a little while to get check. All in all, everyone enjoyed our get together.

Honestly expected much better… We only came here because the Old Scottsdale location was super busy and this one wasn’t. Maybe a sign?? Restaurant was maybe 40% full but service was still lacking. The hostess and male server who brought us our food were very friendly but our waitress had no personality or enthusiasm whatsoever. She never came by to refill our drinks. Couldn’t even ask her because she only came by once to see how we were doing when we were just about done with our food.Food was just ok. Some of our group had tacos and the other, tacos. All of the proteins were dry and missing flavor. Oh, and chips/salsa were not included(extra $3.50 I believe) unlike most other Mexican restaurants.When it came to our check, we waited 15+ minutes for our waitress to come to our table and pick up our credit card. She didn’t even say a simple “sorry for the wait”. The place wasn’t even close to being busy. Other waitresses were just talking with one another at the hostess stand.Anyway, we won’t be coming back here. There’s much better alternatives.

I had a Habanero Lime Rita with mezcal instead of tequila and it was amazing!!! This place has a good selection of mezcal which can be hard to come by at most places. The food is also great, I love their tacos. I will definitely be back. The staff is very friendly and good service!

Stopped in for a quick bite between movies. Had some awesome guacamole! The pomegranate seeds really gave it a unique flavor. The salsa has some heat! Loved the margaritas.
