Coffee machine is $8k but the barista using it has no idea how to make good coffee or the beans are bad. Pastries are decent.Press still has the best pastries and coffee in this area.

Menu is not up to date and they didn't have a suitable alternative. Barista was friendly and tried to be helpful though. Then when I tried coming back a second time, they were already closed at 220p when their posted close time is 3p.

Bring back the old menu! This place is always sold out of everything by 1pm. How do they stay in business?

I’m conflicted. I work in the area so I eat here probably once a week. The food is really good but the main cashier is SO rude every time I go in. Doesn’t say a single word throughout the entire interaction. She literally won’t even look at me, just punches in my order and swivels the iPad for a tip and puts the food on the counter. I always try to be polite at restaurants because I worked in one like this for 4 years, but this employee’s open contempt makes me feel guilty just for ordering food here. My coworkers have experienced similar poor service from this same cashier. If it wasn’t for the chicken panini (and the other much kinder employees), I would never go back.

Well, I visited this coffee shop in hopes that it would be a great location for me to grab some coffee and breakfast. I travel a lot and love to visit different local coffee shops. I was very disappointed in my experience yesterday. I walked in the door, and the young lady behind the counter looked directly at me, finished her transaction with the man in front of me, and walked away. Didn't even acknowledge me with a smile or a "welcome in, I'll be with you shortly." As I stood there waiting for, she comes back, stands at the register, and looks at me. No, "Thanks for waiting. What can I get started for you?". Nothing. So I step up to the counter and say, "Hi, what's your largest size hot coffee?" She sighs like I'm bothering her and points at the cup display to her left. So, I give her the "are you having a bad day?" look and try not to be annoyed.I place my order of a large breve latte and she says "I'm out of half and half, the best I can do is whole milk" so I say "no thanks, I'll just take 2% if you have it". She says nothing and clicks on the register. I also ordered Eggs Tartine. The egg whites were so salty that I couldn't eat all of them. I only ate about half of the and the bread. To top it off, my latte wasn't that good either. So I will be looking for another coffee shop to give my business to for the next week and a half. Hopefully, they will be a little more inviting.

I stopped here after hitting the gym and it was perfect. I ordered an iced vanilla chai tea (delicious without being overly sweet/artificial tasting like the chai teas you’re served at Starbucks) and the egg breakfast sandwich. It was light enough that I felt like I didn’t undo my workout, but filling and very tasty. I will absolutely be back here to try the other items they offer.

Being in a business area, not exactly a chill coffee shop if that's what your looking for. Nice staff. A bit over priced but not many coffee options in the Esplanade area.Parking: A free valet option out front for the entire complex or else underground parking which can be confusing to a newcomer.

The BLT was delicious and it came with a little side salad with the best dressing I’ve ever had.
