They do not honor their prices their website says a oxtail dinner is 23.00 we ordered 2 dinners 46.00 and a curry chicken dinner for 13.00 that’s 59.00 so why when my husband gets to the restaurant our order is 82.00? Then when he showed the clerk the price on the website she told him she’s not dealing with that. Very poor customer service and any of you who are paying this amount for this place are CRAZY!! We will cook our own Caribbean food we are from the islands.
Note the response from the owner.. SMH we’ve had it for cheaper the price doesn’t make it taste good the spices gives it taste. With your attitude we aren’t interested in what it taste like!!

I ordered in July 2024 the curry chicken dinner to go. The chicken was dry, rice and peas dry plantain under cook, I was so disappointed cause they usually have great food.

Food was great. I had the jerk chicken wings, peas & rice with cabbage. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Cabbage wasn't mushy & wings were so tender and delicious. I will be back!!

Food is decent but whenever I order on DoorDash they often cancel my order and have also sent oout the wrong order as well in the past.
I did not go inside. I ordered through Postmates.. The food was tender and fresh …for $15, I would’ve loved to see a couple of more oxtails. The gravy is delicious and sticky as it should be, plenty of rice with my goat chicken meal enough to add with my oxtails for a meal later, I will return again thank you ladies you all Gwan come get your food

I've live in Mobay and I see how the country food is taste but reading this review and the idea most Jamaican travel overseas is to make it quick that is how I'm seeing this owner of this restaurant seems like doing im sure such a review is not a good look for a business try to address this concern from the costumer you see some white people don't eat in African restaurants because no where in the world have good images about Africa so that's why we don't see African restaurants like that around.
Food is disgusting . Especially the oxtail , full of fat n have no real authentic flavor . Rice is mushy …..Here to update my post. How are you telling me what is not true ? ? It is my opinion. Based off the demographics of where your business is ofc people are going to think it’s authentic. As a Jamaican BORN person and someone who loves to cook as well , the oxtail isn’t oxtail’n! At all and your rice is mushy as I said , there was also no flavor. Jamaican rice is cooked with allspice seeds, coconut milk and pepper. Yours tasted like absolute nothing and was soft! Your oxtail tasted like American cuisine , it had no flavor as well. The meat was properly cooked ( not raw) , but it had no flavor lol. Gravy wasn’t thick. In order to correctly cook certain cuisines you need to incorporate the correct seasonings/ingredients. Phoenix LACKS diversity within food seasonings. I’d be happy to offer you the owner a plate of food one day so you can see the difference. Also insinuating I’m not telling the truth instead of asking why I said what I did, is horrible business.
