Went there about a week or two ago. Flat customer service which I can usually ignore if the food is good but it was not. The jerk chicken was mostly bones, it was not tender and the flavor was bland. The cabbage portion was 4 bites and that’s it. I should have read the reviews before I came because the responses from the owner for the bad reviews are very telling 🫠

The lady there is terrible at customer service. This is the first time I was disappointed with oxtail. I waited over 45 minutes to dine in. They packed it in to go containers without askingif i was dining in. Over all very disappointed. I should have known. When I was the only customer for Saturday lunch.

The food was soooo good!! The beef patty is definitely homemade. It tasted just like the ones in Jamaica. The oxtails, cabbage, rice and peas were the best I have had. The food is amazing and service was even better.

Amazing experience all around! I tried the jerk pasta, jerk chicken, and curry goat, and everything was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The seasoning was on point and the portions were very satisfying. On top of the great food, the customer service was truly over the top—friendly, welcoming, and attentive from start to finish. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to and recommending to others!

When I moved to Phoenix, I honestly didn’t think I’d find any real Jamaican restaurants out here. Back in Connecticut I was used to my family cooking or hitting the local Jamaican spots, so I figured Phoenix would be a big change. But Cool Vybz Jamaican Restaurant proved me wrong in the best way.

From the moment I walked in, the energy felt like home—good music, good people, and that authentic Jamaican vibe you can’t fake. I ordered the oxtail and jerk chicken, and both were top tier. The oxtail was tender and falling off the bone, the gravy was perfect, and the jerk chicken had that real flavor and heat without being too much. Even the rice and peas tasted like something straight out of my family’s kitchen.

Finding a spot like this in Phoenix honestly shocked me—in the best way. If you’re looking for real Jamaican food with real flavor, Cool Vybz is the place. I’m definitely going back.

Tried the food truck this past weekend and it was pretty good, wish the oxtail came with more though, for $28 after tax I was expecting a little more than 6 bones, 1 large and rest small.

Response: I never went back to complain about my portion, you must have this portion issue alot. We tried you at the food truck event not restaurant.

We had the food truck at our complex today. I ordered the Pineapple Chicken, Curry Chicken and Beef Patty. Food portions were huge and the flavors were delicious! Loved the rice and peas. I will definitely order from them again. Authentic food. 5 stars 🤩
