This is a fine local gem with a subtle entrance, offering a lively atmosphere and dim lighting alongside varied seating that departs from standard restaurant layouts. The New Mexican cuisine ranks among the best in the valley. Friendly service contributed to a pleasant meal. If you order the green chili as I did, I suggest following the server’s advice and placing the over easy egg on top. The specials were distinctive and enjoyable, so I recommend trying them.
We celebrated my sister’s birthday here and the staff made the evening feel special without making it overly formal. They were attentive and helped us choose dishes since several of us had never been there before. The food came out at a reasonable pace and everything was presented nicely. The birthday dessert was a thoughtful touch. We all left feeling like we had chosen the right place for the occasion.

There is no signage outside, just a blacked out door with a menu. You have to know where this place is, or it's hard to find.
The restaurant is small, only a few dozen seats max. The menu isn't huge, and everything on it that I tried was delicious.
Especially the carne asada enchiladas.
This is truly southwestern food, not Tex-Mex.
I highly recommend it.
