Food was standard pub food. I am writing to say please ask for your receipt. They do not give you an itemized receipt routinely. I asked for one because I needed it, and I saw that they had added on an extra entree, which meant a higher tip and tax. They ended up taking out the cost of the entree, but the tax and tip were not adjusted. I let it go since I know they’re busy, and I get how hard it is to be in the food industry, but please be sure to double check an itemized receipt.

The manager and staff of Husswere wonderful. Everyone had big smiles and was very friendly. The servers were helpful resources when it came to learning about the company and really seemed to take pride in it.Huss was started by husband wife team Jeff and Leah over 10 years ago and has grown to one of the biggest breweries in Arizona. She also owned and operated Papago for many years prior, and they are currently rebranding more with the Papago name.I enjoyed all of the food tastings brought out.- chips and onion dip - could have eaten it all night- jalapeno poppers - a little spice but still yummy- black bean nachos - good lite non-meat option- midwestern fish and sidewinder chips - were better. than expected! The contrast with the tender walleye against the crisp cornmeal coating was nice, and thetartar sauce was a great addition with unique flavor- sausage and pretzel board - was my favorite. Rich flavors and great for sharingI would never call myself a beer drinker as I prefer ciders and sours, but I really enjoyed the tasting flight. I believe it was a good representation of the offerings, and each was unique. We tried: the Scottsdale Blonde, Papago Orange Blossom, Hopaloosa IPA, Rio Salado Mexican Lager, and Koffee Kolsch. I was surprised by actually enjoying the hopaloosa ipa, but the Scottsdale blonde was my favorite. It's so light and refreshing

They kinda acted like they didn't want to serve me. I walk up. The hostess is nowhere to be found. Cool. Walk in "excuse me miss, do we seat ourselves or..." we have a hostess stand outside. Okay.....I stand at the hostess stand looking lost until someone finally asks "Sir have you been helped?" No. "Let me go find the hostess." Oh okay so the employees dont know where the hostess is either. Not a very friendly experience. Like i get it, im not a party of 8 thats going to get you the crazy tips you want. I wouldve left, but I just got off a 5 hour flight and I'm running on fumes. Once I got seated with a waiter things turned around. He was pleasant and got my drinks started quickly. The cheeseburger and az horseshoe fries were delicious. Though it was obvious that some hot and fresh fries were mixed in with not so hot and fresh ones. The bathroom situation also isn't the best. I looked up from my meal and there was a line wrapped to where people were eating. I hope no one was having a private conversation. The bathroom area is also where they put dirty dishes lol. so lots of activity in that area. Honestly on a good day I could see this being a 5 star experience. Maybe I just got a bad roll of the dice.

First attempt to come here and I'm not impressed. I showed up at 11:15. Trying to get a seat for two inside and I was initially told 10 minute wait and after 15 minutes I received a text that said it was going to be a 30 minute additional wait. I'm not sure what time they open, but they did not have the heaters on yet on the patio and for a local that doesn't work this time of year. At this point I'm not sure if I'm gonna wait around or not. I don't think I'll try coming here again. Interestingly, all the food seems to come from one side of the patio and it carried outside in the cold, and then brought into the inside seating on the other side. Not very well, structured or organized. And the phone is been ringing off the hook the last five minutes and no one has answered it.

Convenient location near the Downtown Phoenix Convention Center. We decided to stop here for lunch one day while at a convention. We had a margarita, the Almost Famous Black Bean Nacho and the Midwest Fish and Chips. We ordered the nachos with chicken and they came without chicken. The fries that came with the fish and chips were really good. Our service was relatively slow but it was a beautiful day and we were able to sit outside.

POOR SERVICE on New Years Eve! We waited 20 minutes to get water and menus. Then another 10 minutes for drinks. THEN after the ridiculous wait, they informed us we had another 30 minutes to order drinks and food so they could close by 5pm. Unbelievable. We'll never return David - Phx

Nice relaxed brewery with a wide selection of beer. Comfortable and the staff was great.

Waited over 30 mins and asked about my burger and fries and it had not been cooked. The bartender said it would be ready in 5 mins ( there was "a big ticket in front of me", but people came in after me got their orders.) Rediculous service. I left but she did comp my $7 beer. I am visiting, but don't recommend this place. Messed up my whole evening.

Pretty solid bar and restaurant nestled downtown. The Mexican tacos were decent, nothing remarkable, but definitely satisfying. Soft corn tortillas were appreciated and made up some of the few gluten-free options on the menu. The sidewinder fries are tremendous— well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. The original horseshoe fries are excellent, and I’d highly recommend them as an appetizer or even main dish. It’s not my go-to place downtown, but it’s great for the occasional fry craving and drinks.
