We stopped here for lunch on our last day while visiting Arizona. Every single item was delicious. Birria tacos, chimichanga, assorted tacos. Great food! Updated from previous review on 2026-02-11

Came for dinner with a friend on a Wednesday night after golf at nearby Encanto Park. I had the 3-Taco Variety Plate. You can pick from six flavors (all vegan) and I chose shrimp, fish & carnitas. All were delicious. My friend had the BBQ sandwich which he enjoyed. We also ordered a delicious lavender matcha latte from the attached plant based restaurant next door called Goji Berry. Earth Plant Based is one of our go-to vegan spots in Downtown Phoenix. It’s small, cozy, locally owned, and everything is 100% vegan. We’ve been coming here for a while, and the food always hits.

We usually get the wings (made with seitan) barbecue, lemon pepper, and buffalo and if you get the 12-piece, you can split the flavors. We also love the chorizo fries, quesadilla tacos, chimichanga, asada burrito, and the beans and rice. The kids love it too.

They also have really fun shakes. My favorites are the PB Pretzel and the Strawberry Shortcake. My husband loves their turmeric drink and the Malibu drink. I pretty much just stick to my shake and water.

It is a small spot though, and there’s only one high chair, which is usually taken. Not a deal breaker for us at all, but just something for families to know. One big recommendation: adding more high chairs or little seaters for kids at both Earth Plant Base and Goji Berry would be extremely helpful. We love bringing our family to your spots, so a little more kid seating would make the experience even better.

We’ve eaten here fresh and taken food to go some things reheat well and others are definitely better fresh. The brunch menu on weekends is great, but it does get packed fast.

Overall, it’s a cute vegan spot downtown that we enjoy a lot as locals. Great food, great people, and we’ll keep coming back. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

What an absolute gem to find in Phoenix. This food is absolutely incredible, and if you normally eat meat, you won't believe that it's not meat. It's really wonderful to find such a great restaurant in Arizona. The people are fantastic, and the food is absolutely delicious.

Just visited this eatery, and my lady and I were made up at how awesome it is. Lovely vibe and ultra cool service. And the food is amazing. I had the Chimichanga and it was b i g. Wow. All plant based and gluten free. The Horchata was delicious. Gotta try a shake next time. This place blows me away. We will be back. I highly recommend visiting. Vegan or not. It’s blindin’! 🤘🏻🤓

Amazing little gem of a Restaurant. Literally the best southwest vegan breakfast i have ever had in phx. Lots of options and burritos to boot. And quite pleasantly adjoining a vegan coffee shop and bakery 😋. I highly recommend both ! The pastries are to die for next door and I'm not kidding about breakfast.. these folks need an award...
