Got the chorizo, papas, cheese and egg breakfast burrito today. I thought it was okay as it lacked flavor. I think it was due to mainly having potatoes and eggs and not much chorizo. Not sure if I would give it a second try.

El Jefe supported (donated) a very generous breakfast to our Veterans appreciation group this morning. Julio’s team was extremely helpful and fun to work with - and the food was delicious! I can’t wait to have a dine in experience with them the next time I’m in Awhatukee!

I had the best breakfast burrito, salsa, and horchata of my entire life at El Jefe. Everything is cooked fresh to perfection. The salsas and horchata are made in house, and you can tell. I've never had salsa from a restaurant taste better than homemade until I ate here. The horchata was the perfect blend of sweet and cinnamon. It tasted like drinking a churro. The owner and employees were so friendly. Couldn't have had a better time. I am going to become a frequent visitor...
