I'm usually a drive through kinda a person. But today I decided to go in and pick up my food, and I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the environment. The dining area and staff kitchen were cleaner than I would ever expect. I commended the manager Maria for such a well run and clean restaurant. I feel happy to know that they seem to have strict guidelines to handling food prep and service and are doing an excellent job. Whoever is the regional manager for this location, Maria and her staff are going above and beyond to maintain excellence. So job well done for el pollo loco ray road.

This restaurant has the worst customer service I e ever experienced. They talk to you like you are doing something wrong. I personally experienced the young manager arguing with a customer even though they were correct. Food is good but they need to swap out the staff.

Despite some negative reviews, I've got to say, I'm a fan of El Pollo Loco's Double Chicken Tostada Salad. The flavors just work for me. Sure, there might be a few things they could improve on, but whenever I'm craving a satisfying meal, this is my go-to. It's become my usual order, and I'm always satisfied with what I get. Sometimes, personal taste beats the reviews.
