I don’t usually write reviews, but after my experience working here, I feel a responsibility to speak out, especially for others considering employment at this business.
During my time here, I was constantly harassed about my appearance, especially by Carlos, who regularly made inappropriate comments toward me and other women on staff. He also clearly played favorites, while openly complaining about employees he disliked. I witnessed serious unprofessionalism and questionable behavior on a regular basis.
Food safety and cleanliness are major concerns at this establishment. On my very first shift, a customer found a dead fly cooked into their quesadilla. I’ve seen raw and cooked meat left out for hours which is not only disgusting, it’s dangerous. These are health code violations waiting to happen.
I was also harassed by a former employee who repeatedly came into the business and made me feel unsafe. She later left a public review attacking my body, work ethic, and even falsely accusing me of being racist despite the fact that I’m Mexican and Spanish. That review was encouraged by Carlos and directly led to my termination. Management, including Ashley Galbreath, refused to take any steps to remove or correct it despite knowing it was personal, false, and targeted.
To make matters worse, I am still owed a paycheck. I’ve contacted Ashley multiple times to follow up about this unpaid wage, and instead of support, I was met with defensiveness and silence. As of today, I have not been paid.
I’m sharing my experience in hopes that the owners take accountability, treat their staff with respect, and improve the conditions of this workplace. No one should be harassed, lied about, or go unpaid for their work.
Pay your employees. Protect your staff. Do better.

Loved this place! The food was delicious, our waiter was also the bartender and it was busy but he was on his game and was hustling. The only thing that disappointed me was I ordered my egg over medium and it was overcooked, so they did make me another one but they overcooked it a second time. But definitely would recommend.

This is a modern Mexican restaurant with cool and hip vibe. It has good services and yummy food. Went there on Tuesday night and it was almost full house. Horchata and Gallo Margarita were great. The bartender, Connor, who was also our server, served our drinks quickly. The shrimp cocktail was incredible and refreshing. It is the best shrimp cocktail ever! I liked the freshness of the shrimp and the flavorful cocktail sauce. Chilaquiles was yummy too.
Visited the restaurant again a few days later to try their pozole, tacos, and churros. All tasted good.
Perfect spot for date night. Yummy drinks and great food!!

Gallo Blanco never disappoints! I had the breakfast burrito and it was packed with flavor — perfectly seasoned, hearty, and so satisfying. Paired it with a creamy, perfectly balanced latte that hit the spot. The vibe is fun and welcoming, and the service is always on point. Easily one of my favorite brunch spots in town! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
