This is my favorite restaurant ever. I’ve been to a lot of restaurants, but this one has my heart! I love their health conscious focus and the energy of the location. I don’t have a soy aversion, but I do love the mindfulness and dedication to provide allergen free meals. I can never decide whether to go savory or sweet, but all is delicious. Their milks are house made and all of the drinks are fantastic! I highly, highly recommend 💕

The staff was friendly and food was delicious! We ordered Buddha Bowl, Mole Tacos and side salad. Great place! All vegan. Probably things I could make at home, but done so well!

Giving Tree Cafe is a sweet spot for a healthy meal. As a precious exception to the recent trend toward plant-based fast food, they serve a good variety of healthy, freshly prepared cuisine with organic ingredients and culinary influences spanning the Americas, Europe, and Asia - all reformulated with a modern health food vibe. The prices for mains are reasonable for the quality, though one might consider them a little on the high side for starters, sides, desserts, and drinks. Service is warm and friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxing. Enjoy! Updated from previous review on 2024-12-03

I was looking forward to a well advertised to-go Thanksgiving meal. Excellent job on the advertised menu. Food tasted good but $117 for 2 adult Thanksgiving meals that aren’t even enough to fill a child does not make sense to me. Must be less than 400 calories in the entire meal. I don’t understand how a restaurant can charge $117 (including tax) for 2 supposed adult size portion meals that are too small to satisfy even a child. The soup was swallowed in one gulp, it took me literally five bites to finish the whole meal. It actually looked like it was shrunk from the movie Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. The salad dressing container wasn’t even full, not even a teaspoon of salad dressing. Thanksgiving is supposed to be about giving back and getting full from a meal. This restaurant obviously only cares about how much profit they can turn. Very disappointed. My wife and I are still both hungry on Thanksgiving. She’s going out to the store now hoping that Fry’s is still open so we can pick something up. What a pathetic joke. By no means did I expect to have leftovers. I only had expectations that I would be full from a single meal. I was homeless for Thanksgiving in New York City in 1989 and was able to get a lot more food than this for free at the soup kitchen and was thankful for being able to have a full belly on Thanksgiving. That was actually a better experience than this. If Giving Tree charges $54 plus tax for a Thanksgiving meal, before decimating someone’s holiday hopes, they should at least put a disclaimer that their definition of an “adult” size meal would not fill a medium sized adult but rather merely serve as an appetizer. The lack of value of $117 for 2 appetizers, 2 half sized salads, a teaspoon of salad dressing, a teaspoon of cranberry chutney, 1/4 of a muffin, a tiny bite size dessert, pales in comparison to the disappointment of not being able to have a full belly on Thanksgiving.

Food is good. Atmosphere is fun. Service is friendly. Portions are small for the price. Overall, I go back because it is good vegan food.

Overly priced for extremely bland and mediocre food. Service was excruciatingly slow. Almost felt like the server moved like a sloth. Buddha bowl was a joke.

Also, there was a typical smell across the whole restaurant. Not sure what it was.

Wasted our 50 bucks for two entrees and one drink.

The mocktails here are really good and I could enjoy them all day! The tarot deck at each table is a nice touch! I wasn't impressed with the food, which was expensive. The cheesecake was nice but could have been sweeter, I would suggest maybe they could add some maple syrup. I will be back here but probably only for the beverages.

Love the healthy options and fresh Ingredients. Food was pretty good. I had the crunch wrap. Was a bit surprised by the prices as they were much higher than I expected but you pay for quality ingredients.

Calm atmosphere and friendly service. Good place for a date. The food was tasty too. It was nice to have a place that had options for any dietary needs or restricts where you felt happy full at the end of the meal. Will definitely go again if in the area.

On the practical side. The prices are comparable to other vegan restaurants in town with sit-down service. With the service being better here than competitors You don't need a reservation. However, finding a space to park can be a challenge. Especially if you have a large vehicle.

No one ever answers and when they do they put you on hold and never get back to you oh well…

I stopped by the area after the gym and wanted something healthy, so I ordered the vegan burger, vegan chili, and ginger lemonade. When the burger arrived, I was surprised by its small size. I thought the fresh ingredients might make up for it, but the burger was just okay. The chili, however, was bland and lacked flavor. While I appreciate the focus on fresh, organic ingredients, the overall meal was just decent and not worth the price.
