Nami specializes in vegan versions of the classic Dairy Queen Blizzard. I went with the Cookies n' Cream with vanilla. It was vanilla vegan ice cream. I believe it was coconut ice cream base mixed with Newman's Own Oreo cookies and chocolate sauce. I liked the Newman's Own cookies mixed in yet didn't care for the chocolate sauce as it masked the flavor of the ice cream. Excellent!!! When traveling, I often search for vegan dessert. Last week was no different and I found Nami. Everything I ate (over days) was a 10!! Started that night with a not-so-small cup of the coconut and soy-based frozen dessert. It had a distinct taste of coconut, which is usually too much for me...but it wasn't. Had the chocolate and vanilla swirl. Delicious! Next was the chocolate chip cookie, followed by the "Twinkie." Wow is all I can say about the latter. That Twinkie...read full review
