Disappointing as ever. The food was delicious but the service is why I did not have a positive experience. I came in after work on a Saturday evening. I was exhausted and hungry, I decided to treat myself to a nice meal. Upon entry I told the hostess I was going to dine at the bar. She smiled and said that was fine. Once I found one of MANY seats at the bar, a rude bartender named Jimmy told me I couldn’t sit there because the bar was on a “waitlist”. Remind you it’s 830pm...
Hillstone was recommended by some new friends I met while hiking. I chose to eat at the bar, and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Service was fast, and the food was truly amazing. The French dip was superb, and the key lime pie was the best I’ve had. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming but classy. A great all-around experience!
Excellent food, excellent service, and an awesome atmosphere! I was staying at the hotel next to this restaurant. I decided to check it out and I’m glad I did. Next time I’m in Phoenix I’ll definitely be going back!
