I ordered a 3 item. brisket, pulled pork and hot links. Brisket was chopped up which is not how brisket should be served. Got 1 crusty hot link. Been going to honey bear since the 90s. Not how I remember it being, disappointing

Ordered catering to go for 40 people and everyone loved the meats and macaroni and cheese. Would definitely order from Honey Bear's again for an event.

I had a brisket sandwich and a bag of chips to go from this place, and boy was I disappointed when I opened up my bag.
First, my sandwich wasn't even assembled. They had a small hamburger bun wrapped in aluminum foil separate from the meat. The meat was in a container. The bun wasn't toasted, buttered, or warm; just a sorry, little dry bun. I had never had a deconstructed brisket sandwich before in my life!
Second, they don't give you any onions or pickles with the sandwich, but they do give you BBQ sauce. The sandwich is more than $15, so they should at least give you more than meat, BBQ sauce, and a little dry hamburger bun. The sandwich definitely is not worth the price, and the meat-to-bun ratio was way off.
Third, I should have known that something wasn't right when my order was ready within four minutes of placing it. There was no thought put into my order at all.
I know Phoenix isn't known for BBQ, but good grief, this sandwich could have been much better. I do not recommend this place, and I definitely won't be going back.

I got the sliders, one of each. I highly recommend the pulled pork and brisket. The long smoke made it so tasty. The chicken was good but not as much as the others

First time eating here and it was good. Great flavor and the sauce was good. Coleslaw was decent. The collard greens were not as good as I’m used to but I’m not gonna give a bad rating because of it. I’m used to all day cooked Georgia collard greens(I’m spoiled lol). Wife has the pulled pork sandwich and she loved it. Portions were good. I had pulled pork and the ribs. Delicious is all I can say.
