I had never been here before and went for a lunch meeting for work. It is a beautiful restaurant; however, it was quite empty and the service was lacking. The food was okay. I think it was a bit overpriced for what it is. I'm really not quite sure I would return again as it was not my personal preference.
It wasn't bad and the food was good. The staff seemed all over the place at some points. I highly dislike when you give them your order and you tell them you want the appetizer out first and they still bring out everything altogether and then treat you like they don't need to check on you anymore and the appetizer is cold which tells you, it had been sitting there. Our waiter never really attended to us, never came up and asked if we needed refills or how the food was....
Not too many places in Phoenix where you can get seared tuna but here they do it right. I got it blackened with wasibi cream sauce, very good without overpowering the taste of the fish. Companion had the Bali mango BBQ ribs which were also very good. Creative menu also offers burgers, tacos, roasted pork, other seafood items and a large selection of appetizers. Fun casual atmosphere, Tiki cocktails. We'll be back to try other dishes.
