Stopped by with my family who was visiting from out of town. Food was great ,over priced . We came in on a Saturday afternoon about two weeks ago. The cashier at the front, who I believe said her name was Stacy, had a noticeably negative attitude and came across as unprofessional
We google Jamaican food my husband and I and Island Grill came up, and off we went. The atmosphere indoor and outside was clean. There was a gentleman who greeted us and allowed us to sit outdoors, he was friendly. The hostess Lala was amazing and service was impeccable. She greeted us with a smile and conversation. Was annoyed that it took almost 15 minutes to place an order and another 45 minutes to receive it but, IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT!!!
The oxtails with peas and rice and cabbage was AMAZINGLY GOOD! The food smelled delicious and tasted even better. The peas and rice was a bit spicy but not too much. Oxtails had the excess fat cut off. The gravy everything just hands down the best oxtail I've had in the area.
