This is hands-down the best Ethiopian food in Phoenix! Flavors are so complex and developed. We're vegetarian, so we usually go for the veggie combos and lentil sambusas. The ambience is friendly and warm, and there's an extra eating area with Mesob basket tables for a more communal and intimate setting. Really cute little low key place with great atmosphere and amazing food. Super vegan friendly. Highly reccomend!Vegetarian options: Like most Ethiopian places half the menu is vegan anyway. They do a good job of clearly showing what's vegetarian and what isn't.

The food was excellent and so was the service (the woman said her name was AZ, like Arizona, not sure how to spell it but she was so nice!). I highly recommend the Abyssinia Signature so that you can try a little bit of everything (but its definitely made for 6+ people). I will definitely be back. Note - I think they actually close at 7pm and not 10pm.
