I had the gyro pita and it was amazing! It tasted so fresh. The fries were fantastic with a excellent seasoning. Excellent portion for the price as well. I will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

We came to JJ’s for lunch today. It was delicious! The euros had a ton of meat in it and is actually freshly cut off the spit, which is the only way it tastes good. Service was really friendly and the fries. Have a delicious seasoning on them. Great value will definitely be back!

Best hole-in-the-wall Greek food you’ll find in Phoenix. They are always extremely nice too, going above and beyond for customers. The hummus is amazing (but I haven’t had a bad plate of anything here)

I chose JJ’s Euros because it had a 4.7-star rating, but unfortunately our experience was nothing like the reviews. We came in for a late afternoon lunch and it was honestly horrible. We ordered the gyro pita meals. My husband got fries, and while they were tasty, the portion was extremely tiny. I ordered the side salad, which was actually very good but that’s where the positives ended.
The pitas themselves were terrible. The bread was overly oily, which I’ve never experienced before, and we eat a lot of Greek food. The gyro meat was the worst part. It was like eating shoe leather: dry, hard, and almost inedible. It was definitely the worst gyro I’ve ever had.
Hopefully this was just a one-off bad day, especially since their reviews are so high, but based on this experience, I won’t be returning.
