I was in too much of a hurry to fully immerse myself in what this lovely establishment seems to be able to provide. I DID, however, have a brisket sandwich which was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth heaven on a bun. I will 100% be returning when I have more time.
My girlfriend and I had the day off and I was just craving barbecue! I asked chat gpt top 5 places in phoenix.. JL smokehouse was 5th! Once I saw southern and soul style, then the menu… it was my #1 choice. We had the rib tips, pulled pork, ribs, Mac and cheese and collard greens! Straddling the fence meal with lemonade! Best believe… it was all of that! Come get you some!

Everything was delicious.
Bbq heads know the time and effort great tasting bbq takes.
The staff is so friendly, I would also be happy around bbq everyday, please don't give them any BS.
The brisket portion I got was on the leaner side. It didn't fall apart, it was something you could get a clean bite into.
