I've been a loyal customer of this restaurant since I was six years old, but recent experiences have been disappointing. After moving back to the area from Grand Forks, ND, my husband and I gave it another chance. While the food was fine during our first two visits, our third visit was marred by a misunderstanding about tipping, which led to a confrontation with the host. The following week, we returned to celebrate some good news, but the waitress brought up the previous incident, questioning our behavior in front of others. This ruined our celebratory mood. On Mother's Day, the same waitress told us they were out of root beer, only to overhear another booth ordering it. My food was also subpar, with hardly any cheese and burnt edges. Given the poor service and atmosphere, we've chosen to dine elsewhere, opting for the Star Liner Diner, which offers a more positive experience.

Great food!! I went to this wonderful restaurant when I was a kid - 60 years ago - Same great Jordan's tradition. You were short handed today, but the service was still first class.

Worst plate of mexican food ever. There absolutely no flavor. We won't be going back.
By far the best food I've had in Arizona. Good service, excellent salsa, and the food is to die for. It's a MUST!! 10/10

Jordans red beef enchiladas are perfect. I miss the old restaurant on central avenue. The story goes that senator Barry Goldwater would have the food sent to him in Washington he loved it.

Comparable to filibertos. Machaca that was just chunks of dry/underseasoned shredded beef and raw bits of what I think was pico de gallo, NOT machaca at all. Another plate had unmixed pico de gallo, it was literally chopped fresh, so no marinade to it whatsoever. Most of the food was bland/underseasoned, chewy tortilla on burrito. Pato sauce for salsa, but 1 salsa was very tasty! Nice waitresses.
