Loved our experience at Khyber Halal. The staff were friendly, and frequently checked on us during our meal. The food was AMAZING—very juicy, tender, and flavorful. We tried the garlic naan, chicken boti, and qabuli palau along with mango lassi and dogh. We were really impressed and definitely coming back next time in Phoenix.
The best chicken kebab I’ve ever had! Their bread was amazing and brought back memories of Afghanistan. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking to try authentic halal Afghan, Pakistani, or Indian food.
Food was excellent. We ordered lamb shank that was accompanied with basmati rice with carrot and raisin and goat biryani and shared a naan. I believe the naan is baked fresh in a tandoori oven; if not it fooled me. Service was attentive but the one server was a little preoccupied because the restaurant was full. No alcohol available.
