I've eaten at the original L&L, and the food is basically the same good food. What sets this one apart is the service. I asked for basic things (katsu sauce and a to go bag), and they acted like I getting on their nerves. I was always polite and said thank you. It was not reciprocated. I think I'll skip this particular restaurant in the future. I'm not going to pay for bad service.
Always great! Don't listen to the haters!!! This shit slaps so hard my momma started crying! Thanks l&l for kicking ass, and serving up that sweet sweet Hawaiian bbq! They got the best mac salad in town, and thier katsu is fire. I really haven't had anything bad on the menu yet, to be honest. Also to the racists who say they don't speak English... I haven't experienced that yet, however I have heard them speak to the chefs sometimes in another language....

The chicken was insanely crispy and made me want to cry tears of joy. And the short ribs were good too.
Anyway, could be a little cleaner but the taste can’t be beat.
