Way way over priced...17.99 for a small salad pre-made...5.89 for a candy bar...pre-made breakfast burrito..16.99...outrageous...should be illegal...captive at the airport!
The woodfire pizzas aren’t too bad

Echoing other reviews about horrible services.
I approached the very empty bar and asked if they had a menu I could peek at, got a “honey, it’s on the wall” from the bartender and he walked away. Not 30 seconds later he hands a tangible menu to an older dude sitting at the bar.
Why. Just why. You don’t need to be rude for no reason
I had to pay 25 dollars for the nastiest most elementary school cafeteria sandwich ever. After I got it I asked for ranch and they said it was 1.40 lolol this place is a joke

Decent but pricey pizza. Ordered the Gladiator. Good for 2 medium hungry people, or one teenager. Cost $25.

Waited 15 minutes for an iced coffee. When I got about halfway through drinking it, there was something gross that came up the straw. Nothing like the original. I’m glad I didn’t order food!

⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointed at La Grande Orange – Phoenix Airport
I went out of my way to stop at one of my favorite spots, La Grande Orange, expecting the same great food and friendly service I’ve always loved. Instead, it was a letdown from the start.
At 7:45 AM, I tried to sit at the bar — plenty of dirty tables around, no crowd — and the staff told me I couldn’t sit there unless I was ordering alcohol. Seriously? At breakfast? The attitude wasn’t great, and it just felt unnecessarily rude.
Then my tea never arrived. When I asked about it, the same employee was too busy “policing” the area to help, even though the bar was empty. My sandwich was just okay, not the usual quality.
First-world problem, sure, but when a place has always been a favorite, you expect better. Next time I’ll stick with Chelsea’s Kitchen or one of the other nearby spots where the service still matches the food.

If you're passing through this gate and feeling even mildly hungry—*run*. This place is like a masterclass in how *not* to serve travelers.
First, let’s talk about the service. I had the pleasure (read: torment) of dealing with a male employee who redefined the word “rude.” When I politely told him I couldn’t hear him over the blaring airport announcements, he just shrugged and said *he* was fine. Excellent communication skills—if your goal is to gaslight customers into thinking being ignored is perfectly normal. The napkin dispenser was out so I asked for napkins. The female pointed to the empty dispenser without even looking at it.
Now, onto the food (if we must). I ordered the tortilla soup, which came highly un-recommended by literally everyone with taste buds. $12 for a bowl of what I can only describe as *burnt disappointment*. It had maybe three tortilla strips—bless them—and absolutely zero toppings because they were “out.” Honestly, it tasted like it had been cooked next to a campfire where hope had already died.
In summary: avoid this place unless you're conducting a personal study on overpriced sadness. Eat literally anywhere else—even a stale granola bar from your bag would be a step up.
The owners should consider better training as I definitely would not recommend eating here with this level of service and junk food.

The worst Caesar salad I’ve ever had. Stale croutons. And just not good at all.

How can you go wrong with just a turkey sandwich! The sandwich taste like it was bad. I only took 3 bites and was awful for $21
Recently traveling through Phoenix Airport, Had a quick stop to grab food for next flight. Prices are not visible at food selection. Grabbed 2 sandwiches and 2 salads. At register i should have walked away after seeing the total. But with time constraints i continued, However my regret completed as the food was aweful, No flavor, quality of salad only passes the visual test.
Avoid by any means. Should have just had a protein bar. Only has 1 star as it required 1 to submit. Should really have a 0-.5 star rating.
Terminal D has terrible food options, and this rip off place sucks. Terrible value, small portions, very high prices. I hope the airport does something to fix this price gouge dump. All their fridge food looked old and like bread sandwiches. Do better sky harbor and kick this place out. Oh and they charge extra for sauce with your $16 taco that they call a burrito.

I was sitting here waiting for my flight and the manager (who i found out was the GM Brenda) pulled 2 employees to sit with her. She then decided to yell at them for issues in the workplace while stuffing her face with food. I understand their might be an issue in the workplace but you really should NEVER yell at an employee like she did around guests. That was truly embarrassing for the employees and she should not be in her position if she is going to treat employees the way she did. At least pull them to the back and have a conversation with them, but also do it better. Again, I do not know the whole story but she could have handled that situation so much better! I work as a director in education and deal with adults who can twist my head but I would never talk to them the way she did, and in front of guests! That is so sad, its because of managers like her that cause employees to quite. You might want to really investigate her, just really sad.
