Service was okay, it seemed a little slow. I had the 3 chicken thighs and waffle dish. The chicken was crispy and had very good flavor, but I thought the thighs were small. The place was clean in general.

The food is great, the prices are surprising ?We were charged a much higher price for the appetizer than what was on the listing at the front counter when we first arrived.

It's been a few years, but Lo-Lo's is still fantastic. Great chicken and waffles, great servers, and awesome kool-aid.

Usually a long wait (40 mins or more) since it is first come, first serve, but absolutely delicious food and friendly servers. I highly recommend!

Straight from the airport to LoLo's. No stops, no distractions. Absolute must for a visit to Phoenix. You have to try the GIZZARDS! I know, they're tough, they're too chewy. No, Really, give them a try.

The food is excellent. Delicious, the service too, Mathew was our server and he didi it marvelous. The waiting time was super long and the time for waiting the dishes to come out was too much. The ambiance waas cool. There waa a DJ.

Lo-Lo's was the business! Everything was delicious! We went back to back nights while in Phoenix. Note that the wait is long, but they let you know that up front. Use that time to review the menu so you know what you want as soon as your waitress comes. The food takes 45 minutes after ordering but is 100% worth the wait!

We flew into Phoenix and traveled to Tucson, AZ for a family reunion for a wonderful 5 days. It was my wife, mother-in-law, and me. On our way back to Phoenix to catch our flight, we asked for recommendations on places to eat at in Phoenix, and a family member recommended Lo-Lo's Chicken & Waffles, so we stopped by for a bit to eat. OH MY! I WANTED TO SLAP EVERYBODY'S MOMMA UP IN THAT SPOT...NOT LITERALLY! COME ON! YOU KNOW THAT SAYING!? Anyways, we visited the location on 1220 S Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85003. The restaurant inside and out was clean, and the food smelled scrumptious from the outside. The staff was very friendly, and we had the best server in Phoenix. Her name was Zariah like Mariah Carey, but with a Z. lol My mother-in-law ordered three chicken wings and zuchinni; my wife ordered BETTY'S BOOB - One juicy breast & one delicious waffle and an extra chicken wing, and I ordered UNCLE BROTHA'S SHRIMP AND GRITS with the works, and a side of fried okra and greens, and of course I tried my wife's chicken & waffles! OOOOOOOWEE! Everything was delicious! The chicken was crispy and flavorful. The waffles were tasty like a semi-sweet cake accompanied with a kind of honey sweet buttery syrup. The fried okra and greens were very similar to how my grandma and dad would make'em. UNCLE BROTHA'S SHRIMP AND GRITS had me losing my mind! The grits were creamy, cheesy and filled with fried shrimp and extras like bacon, mushrooms, scallions, etc.. I couldn't stop eating! This is one on my new favorite places to eat. Thank you for the hospitality and deliciousness!
