Kat was GREAT, she helped me get my small one's orders together and kept checking on us, kept them engaged in convo. And made sure everything was on the up! Visited from Chicago, and everything from service and food was spectacular, just disappointed i didn't get to try the 1942 frozen.
We’re visiting Phoenix and wanted to try some local soul food. Everything was delicious and this location was close to our hotel. The Mac and cheese, catfish, and corn bread were my favorite. Our server was very nice and provided a great service. Also the kool-aid was good and not too sweet. They were playing good music which added to our experience.
I was there last week from out of town with family. The food and atmosphere was pretty good, but the service was not good at all. I've been in the culinary food service industry for almost 40 years and the owner would have been embarrassed if he saw this. The party I was with was about 8 people so he explained that we would pay 20 percent gratuity for a party over 6 people. No problem with that but after getting our food he disappeared and did not return to the table till...
