Closed store on July 31, 2019 after 60 years in n Phoenix. Catering may continue under Valdevias daughter. Letter on door tells the sad news

Had reservations for a large group. Restaurant did not have appropriate serving staff. 3 hours for food. Then read in the paper they were closing. Very disappointing.

The best Mexican food in town, by far! I love the atmosphere, the value, and the quality plates served hot and fresh. Thanks for your great service, Los Compadres! I'll be back again and again!

Been going to this place for close to 20 years probably. Lots of family lunches, dinners, celebrations here over the years. Sad to see them go. All God's best.

Beware before driving across town for 1 last meal they close from 2 to 4, sure would have been nice to know that. Website says they are open,best to call ahead.

I've been going to this place since I was born. In the past couple years the prices have gone way up while the service and quality has gone down. Recently they were closed on a Saturday for a private party. On a Saturday! Completely closed.

Have been coming here for years and really enjoy it.

Friendly staff. Fast quality food after ordering. Cold beer and great mixed drinks.

Service took awhile but that was probably because we had a larger party. I got the vegetable fajitas which were good, not great. My family loved the cheese crisp.

Great food, I was SO impressed, it. was my 1st time eating food from here We had a team lunch at work and ordered from them. It was so good, fresh and they gave us alot of food. My family and I will be going to eat here.

This family has been making delicious Mexican food in Phoenix for over 50 years. The salsa always shows what they are made of and theirs is awesome. For non-Mexican food folks, there's plenty to choose from and even folks watching the calories. I think their guacamole is the best. Live music on select evenings. A great place for 2 or a reunion.

Food is still pretty good but the service is lacking. So wish the 7th Ave location was still open. They were 5 star.

Best machaca tacos EVER! Always really great no matter when we go or what we order but the machaca tacos are by far my favorite. Love how the salsa is nice and spicy too and the staff is always friendly!!

Unfortunately, I have had not had any good experiences at this establishment. After a few chances I can honestly say that they have lost my business. The staff is polite, if your can get the right server. The food is mediocre and expect to pay for your meals at least twice. I won't be bringing my friends here again.
