Love this spot, service is always friendly, food is always on point and you get a healthy portion. Just like if abuelita(grandma) was serving you. So far I've had the chilaquiles and the pancakes and both were amazing. I love spots like this that seem unassuming from the outside. I Definitely recommend stopping in. Not a huge menu and to me thats key, because they focus on mastering what they have and they do it very well.
The empanadas de calabaza are mind blowing absurdity is a perfect word for how soft they are and thats not even describing how delicious the filling is, it’s a must have a and a perfectly brewed coffee that has a robust flavor that can encapsulate grounding yourself and waking up all in the same measure…..before anything else lest it be skipped, these amazing women create the most warming and wonderful atmosphere if for that alone you should make your way down to experience...
I ordered the egg sandwich with bacon, add mayo and tomato. It was the best egg sandwich in Phoenix. I don't say that lightly, we eat out for breakfast every weekend and have been for years. It was definitely the absolutely best.
