Love the food here. Unfortunately, on my last visit, I stood waiting for service. Finally, a couple entered who were immediately seated. They literally had to look past me to greet the other people.
The quality of the food is inconsistent. Usually good but it's gone from very good to very average. After 2 recent surgeries, I had their food delivered as my comfort food. The war wonton soup last month was superb and filled with simp, wonton and veggies. This time one wonton, 4 pieces of chicken and little veggie. The sesame chicken was too chewy and a bit fatty and the rice was cold while the rest of the food was hot.
Not the Suan Cai Yu (pickled fish vege soup) I was expecting.
I’ve had this dish many many times and I usually go to Mesa for it. But I wanted to try out this place since they offered this dish.
It was good, but not your traditional pickled fish vege. The flavours are very different here, not my style.
It’s a great restaurant, I’m sure they’ve got amazing food since a tonne of people...
