MacAlpine's Diner & Soda Fountain

We love McAlpines so much and are thrilled that they are open again. They have the absolute best ice cream sundaes, ice cream sodas and sandwiches.

What a fun experience! The food was amazing and the service attentive. Great family atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and take your friends and family to MacAlpines !

Amazing place so fun

15 of us met and enjoyed the “soda fountain” vibe of this treasure!! Monica, owner, welcomed us while her staff Phil and Kim provided outstanding wait service. And then there was the FOOD!! The malts, ice cream floats and sundaes, sandwiches all so good AND then the pies ooooooo the pies. The pecan pie is topped with carmel sauce, warmed and served with ice cream Yummm
Our visit was finished with a treasure hunt in their vintage shop.

Omg the best fountain drinks ever!!!!! If you haven’t tried this place you must!!! And ask for a slice of pecan caramel pie, it’s to die for!!!!

Great experience, been there twice now. Good flavors, nice staff. Amazing atmosphere, really makes you long the days of driving down route 66 in a 1950 Chevy Bel-Air with the family in tow, stopping off at a pharmacy for a soda and an ice cream.

Nostalgic. Good food and service.

Such a great place to step back in time for a few blissful moments. I shockingly had never been here after many years in the Valley but I’m so glad to have been and will return. We need iconic places like this to stick around 🤍. The friendliest staff, amazing pie (of course!), and a perfect lunch spot.

This is such a cool hidden gem! It's like stepping back in time when you walk through the door. We were promptly greeted by a friendly worker behind the counter. We sat at a booth which was an old wooden booth that had a mini juke box with old songs on it. All the old decor around is so fun to see and the menu has sooo many options for ice cream sodas and ice cream sundaes. Such a cool little historic spot, I can't wait to come back! This place should be more well known. I highly recommend checking it out next time you want a delicious lunch, dinner or dessert in a unique place.

The burger was tasteless. If it didn’t have the condiments, I wouldn’t have even been able to taste it. I ate half left the other half. I treated three other people that day and I was so disappointed going there. I’m glad that two of them ordered that hot fudge sundae. I couldn’t believe the size but it was nine bucks. But it was nice for you to bring the second tray and service was very slow and we did have someone a little older than we were with us and she was a little annoyed because the person did forget to bring her beverage. And by then we had already been eating our food.

A cool & fun place.

I went there yesterday for the first time. My friend recommended it. I'm upset I just found out about this place and I've been missing out! I was greeted with a friendly smile and chose to sit in a booth. My server Kim was very sweet and attentive even tho she was busy. I chose the club sandwich with fries. It was absolutely delicious. Fries were perfectly seasoned. I couldn't leave without dessert so I chose a banana split. They had run out of bananas and had someone go to the store to get some, even tho I said I'd order something else because I didn't want someone to have to do that just for my split. They weren't having that, they insisted it was no problem with a smile. I still felt horrible as I'm in the industry and lots of people would want you to cater to them like that when it's closing time especially and I know what it's like. They said it's not a problem at all. Now that's service! Everything here was absolutely delicious and amazing and the service was out of this world as good service barely exists anymore. I've already told my family and friends about this place and they can't wait to come try it. Thank you MacAlpines for such a wonderful experience at a new place and for giving me a new place to frequent.

Been coming here for decades and love poking around the vintage stuff. I was devastated when they closed and I am so happy theyre open 7 days a week again!!!!!! Great place for family lunch.
