We visited for a pre-show (Rick Steve's and the Phx Symphony) dinner. It was great. The access is basically walk up an outdoor flight of stairs or take the escalator and then you are at the front door of the restaurant. We ate inside, although the outside looked very nice and inviting. Pretty place with top-flight service and really good food. I was pleasantly surprised that the price point was right in line for a nice place like this. We had escargot, caesar salads, steamed asparagus, salmon, sea bass and lasagna. Portions are on the large side. Everything was perfect and the main courses were piping hot. I loved the old Mancuso's on 32nd St and Camelback, and I fell in this newer version, too.
This feels like a European restaurant, certainly the entrance up to the crisp, cream and white canopy entrance. Inside the lush, dark interiors are also reminiscent of a discreet London eaterie. The food is more US influenced but that is not a bad thing! The filet mignon melted in my mouth and there is a good range of vegetarian options as well as US classics. The bar at the far end of the restaurant is impressive! And not just for theatricality but it is well-stocked!
Absolutely delicious food and great service. The chicken pesto sandwich was amazing and I could only eat half for just under twenty bucks. They also have the most flavorful olive oil and balsamic vinegar I’ve ever had for the garlic bread. I went on a whim and the locality to the conference I was at and I’m happy I did.

We went for dinner and ordered the house salad, shrimp & sea scallop scampi, and the grilled lamb chops. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all, so the food came out almost immediately unfortunately, too quickly. There was no pacing between courses, and our entrées arrived before we even had a chance to finish the salad, which made the table feel crowded and rushed.
The presentation left a lot to be desired. The plates looked hastily put together, reflecting the rushed timing. I've never had linguini served on a plate before, and it didn’t quite work. The broccolini was mangled, and the asparagus spears were unusually large and unappealing. That said, our server was friendly, and the crème brûlée cheesecake at the end was actually very good.
Overall, the experience felt rushed and a bit sloppy, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. With better timing and more attention to detail in presentation, this could have been a much more enjoyable meal.

It was top of the line. Not much of a view but didn’t matter. Food and service was the best. Wasn’t crowded so was very quiet. Everyone was nice.

The servers were all very professional and very courteous, which I truly appreciate, but there were instances where members of our party were waiting for things like drink refills or fresh flatware. We had plenty of staff working our table so it just might have been a misscommunication on who was looking after what. The atmosphere was premium and felt like a place for special occasions, which our visit was. The oysters on the half shell were dry and fishy smelling. I suspect they had been shucked for a while and sat out. The garlic bread was extremely garlicky so be warned. The dressing on my wedge salad was also very garlic heavy and so was the linguini with clams. I like garlic so this is not a complaint but others may find it overwhelming. I am visiting Phoenix and this is a review based on one experience. I cannot say if this is typical and would encourage people to try this place if they enjoy garlic or avoid the items I mentioned if they do not and still have a true Fine dining experience.

The staff were excellent, that can be said with certainty. The rest of the experience is average. The steak I ordered was perfectly cooked, and mashed potatoes and veggies were good. BUT, there are some pitfalls here, the shrimp cocktail was quite literally a complete scam. It was $20 for 4 tiny shrimp. Makes this place feel like a facade, and more of a tourist trap. My partner did not like her marsala sauce, said it is too thick to be a classic marsala.

I went with a group for a business dinner and Mancuso’s did not disappoint! Although difficult to find upstairs and inside an unmarked building, the atmosphere, service and food was 10/10.
The pork chop and Parmesan risotto were two of the most discussed dinner choices.
