It hood over there so watch yourself. The food was good it did take a while but it was hot. The atmosphere in the place was wired some homeless in there but not bugging out. I go back just because it hood.
I was in the area for work so placed an online order through their direct website. Everything was delicious. The only reason I removed a star is because when I went to pick up the order there were many things on the menu that are not on their ordering website. On the website the catfish sandwich is $9.99 and on the menu there it was only $3.99. I would have ordered a couple to take home. Also the milkshakes sound awesome but again were not on their website.

Mandy’s Fish & Chips is a well-loved restaurant that has been serving the Phoenix area since the 1980s. Known for its excellent fish, including popular choices like cod and whiting, it stands out as a diamond in the rough. The restaurant is praised for its surprising selection of different preparations, including cod and tilapia, and is recognized as a great mom-and-pop store deserving of local support.
The owner and staff are noted for their kindness and commitment to fresh, made-to-order meals, making it a favored choice over competitors like Pete's. Many customers express loyalty to Mandy's, often returning for their delicious food, with some even sending family members to pick up orders.
However, there have been some concerns regarding order accuracy, as one customer experienced issues with missing items after ordering through Grub Hub. Despite this, most reviews highlight the positive atmosphere and quality of food, making Mandy’s a cherished spot for both locals and visitors.
