The best salsa in town. Fresh tomatoes, onion, garlic, cilantro, green chili. Chunky. Tends to be mild, once in a while slightly spicy. Also excellent tacos. Pleasant atmosphere, it's nicer sitting in a booth in the bar. Service is average, not excellent. Priced about the same as other Mexican restaurants in Phoenix. One drawback, closes at 9:00pm, pretty early for a city the size of Phoenix.
My family has gone here for decades. My father used to go to business meetings at one of the old locations just to the east of here way back when. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. We really like the chile rellenos!
