So delicious! We had an open frybread with red and green chile, a machaca burrito combo (with green chile sauce), and plain frybread - all were exy and I would get them again. The machaca was really flavorful and juicy. The plain frybread comes with lots of fun toppings you can add yourself - my favorite was honey + cinnamon sugar. Highly recommended!

I was blown away with this small place. The food was fresh, home made, and delicious. It reminded me of MOMs cooking. I strongly suggest trying this restaurant. Wonderful people and delicious food. The frybread was the best I've had in a long time.

It's OK for lunch, but I wouldn't take a date here. Their outstanding quality is that they're wicked fast and super nice. They take care to get you lunch immediately and that's really awesome when you have a short time.

Sick of all the million Taco joints in Arizona? Come here instead! Fry bread is not a Taco, it is significantly tastier, made with similar ingredients. It's fresh, quick, and tasty. I've brought several out of town friends who are visiting and they loved it instantly! I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff are friendly and nice, and the cooking is top notch. Get the fry bread and the nachos.. Live a little. You'll regret not getting both.

I wanted to try some frybread before leaving Arizona and found Maria's Frybread & Mexican Food on Yelp... I'm happy to report that it exceeded my high expectations even after reading all the rave reviews! We visited on a Monday around 2:15 pm and they weren't busy at all. FAST FACTS: * Parking - available in the lot in the front or on the side of the building * Drive thru available SERVICE - The gentleman working at the front was AWESOME! He greeted us right away and seemed genuinely excited that we were there! He took our order and offered to wait to serve us the plain frybread once we were done the savory frybread which was perfect. He checked on us as we were eating to get the timing of the plain frybread and said goodbye as we left. I was super impressed by the hospitality! PRICING - The total was $18.98 after tax for an open frybread ($11.49) and plain frybread ($5.99). Considering the portion size, I thought the pricing was reasonable! CARNE ASADA FRYBREAD (10/10) - This rocked my world! It was larger than expected but I enjoyed every single bite. The frybread itself was super crispy and remained that way until the last bite (aka no sogginess). The carne asada was delicious and all the toppings were fresh and plentiful. Three different salsa options were brought out with it and they were all delicious. I would order this again in a heartbeat! PLAIN FRYBREAD (9/10) - This was the perfect sweet ending! Again, the frybread was super crispy and it was served with an assortment of sauces (chocolate, caramel, and raspberry), honey, powdered sugar, and a cinnamon sugar. My favorite was a little honey with some cinnamon sugar but I loved that I could sample the different combinations and each bite was a little different. I'll definitely recommend Maria's Frybread & Mexican Food to others in the Phoenix area and will absolutely stop by the next time I'm in town!
