I’ve been coming to Playa Hermosa for years. Decided to come out here this past Saturday to celebrate my birthday and it was by far the best experience we’ve had. Booking the reservation took 5min online, restaurant answered the phone when we were running a few minutes late and held our table. Service was fast, waitress and busers were attentive at getting food and drinks in and plates and cups out. Staff was amazing with celebration cake. 🍰 15/10 experience!

This is our go to place for mariscos! Food and service are top notch. Thanks you John for the best customer service every time we come. We have had the fish and shrimp tacos and they do not disappoint! You always get complimentary ceviche tostadas with your meal. The margaritas are pretty good too. Until next time!

Best Marisco restaurant by far, we had the red snapper and mocajete. The service was perfect as well as the food.
Great seafood, with a wide variety of options. Not much on atmosphere and the music can be kinda loud at times. Reasonable prices, fast service.had a decent lunch.

The staff was amazing, Li the owner and Guadalupe our server went above to make sure our 1st experience was awesome. I ordered the paella platter and my husband got the El Capitan platter with 32oz beers. Food was amazing. Highly recommend for a taste of Mexico with seafood

Wow! This place is a little on the expensive side but well worth the price. Fish is always fresh and consistent delicious seasoning! A simple warm delicious shrimp broth is a good start and free device Tostada complementary with your order is provided!

Food poisoning nightmare — avoid at all costs.
I ordered oysters because the waiter insisted they were the restaurant’s “signature oysters from Mexico” and said they were “really good.” I even asked her — how on earth does a place in Arizona have fresh oysters? She confidently convinced me to trust her.
Biggest mistake ever. Within hours, three out of four of us were violently sick all night long. It’s now the next day (12:46 PM as I’m writing this) and one of my friends is still stuck in the bathroom. The only person who didn’t get sick was the one who didn’t eat the oysters.
I tried to call the restaurant to speak with a manager, hoping they’d take responsibility or at least show concern — he hung up on me. No apology, no accountability.
This was not just disappointing — it was disgusting and dangerous. Never again.
