I had the Ruben and it was amazing. It’s rather large as well. If I’m ever back here I’m coming for the pancakes!

I had my heart set on a waffle, but it was not available when I visited. Instead, I opted for the reuben which came with housemade chips and a pickle. My husband had the pork and chicken which came with potatoes and toast. Both meals were delicious and arrived hot. The reuben was piled with corned beef with some saurkraut. Both of us had to take a to-go box with half our meal. So much food! The coffee is delicious too.

Would zero star if I could, by far worst airport restaurant bar I've been to. Rude staff, lukewarm food and terrible service. Walk a bit to much better options.

I was in Phoenix for a couple days and found this place, read the reviews and decided to give them a try. I just wanna say this was the most delicious breakfast ever! The pancakes were light, fluffy and delicious! The potatoes were seasoned just right and the best I ever had. Omg the bacon!!! Mouthwatering! Hands down this place is the ONLY place you need to go for breakfast. They have so many different choices on the menu! Shout of to Gisela for great service with a smile.

Food had a good flavor. Place was full when we arrived. People were seating their selves because no one was working the wait line. We decided to grab a table and was told to get back in line and wait. My husband mentioned that everyone had been seating their selves. One of the waitresses asked him if everyone jumped off a bridge would you? Totally unnecessary. Rude. Matt’s is supposed to be known for Friendly service.
Need some work. It was October 10, 2025 at 10:30 am. Pay attention to people in your wait line. I noticed other reviews with the same complaint.

I went through the fast line. Not the sit down dining. The breakfast sausage burrito i bought was tasty but the greasiest I’ve ever had. The tortilla was shiny with grease. I only ate a quarter of it. I hope i don’t have stomach problems…

So, first I want to say that my server had a fun personality. He was kind. I was seated quickly which is a plus. The coffee was okay—-i wouldn’t get a second cup. I had to get my own silverware because my server forgot. But I went to the bar and was immediately given utensils. The food….. someone really likes pepper HAHA Good Lawd it was a lot of pepper. I do not like pepper but I ate it. The bacon was good with good portion size BUT peppery. The sourdough toast was good. The potatoes were okay but a little greasy. The jam was more of a thin consistency BUT it was delicious. If they hold back on shaking the pepper so much I would go back! It was also reasonably priced.
