Dark. Cold. Tons of pool tables. Perfect
Best spot in Phoenix!!
This is my go-to bar when in Phoenix. Great atmosphere and friendly vibe. Bartenders are always ready with a smile. Especially Maddie, who always remembers me and my drink (vodka martini, up). Prices are very reasonable. Lots of pool tables if that’s what you like. Plenty of TV’s too. Great location, just off the I-17 at Peoria.

Metro Sportz Bar & Billiards offers a fantastic atmosphere with minimal fights and positive vibes. The food quality can be hit or miss, but the service depends on the time and how busy it is. The bar has a large parking lot that wraps around the building, and it's recommended to carpool to leave room for others. The bartenders are described as "absolute gems" with friendly and timely service. The food is tasty and goes well with the drinks, and the bar and pool tables are well-maintained. The place is known for its friendly and safe environment, making it a great spot to hang out, especially for serious pool players.
The recent reviews mention that the experience was cool, with a different price point for the food and drinks compared to the past. The drinks were around $12 and were okay. The wings required an extra charge for celery and carrots, which was unusual. The quesadilla was good, but they tried to charge extra for pico and salsa. The manager resolved the issue, and the waitress was helpful. The bouncer was cool and ensured the customers were comfortable. The pool table cost $10 for an hour or $12 per person, and the dart machine was a bit tricky. Overall, the customers enjoyed the cool atmosphere and vibe of the place.
