I hadn't been here in years. Exactly as I remember. Down home service and environment. And they still have the salad bar! Which is a hard to find these days. I got the pot roast which was my go to 30 years ago. It was still as good. My friend got the lasagna and it was also amazing. It truly is like eating from Mom's kitchen.
This is a place I'm really glad we found. We were greeted with a smile as soon as we walked in. Vast array of menu options. The food came out quickly and was hot. We got fresh homemade bread with our meal. The service was amazing. The food was fantastic. If you're reading this and are looking for a small establishment with great everything thing, get there as soon as you can. We will definitely return if/when we are in the area.
My family has been going to My Mother's since the late 80's. I grew up going there too & still go as an adult whenever I'm in town. The food is so delicious! All the dishes are wonderful, especially the teriyaki chicken. They also have great pies, with our families favorite being their blueberry pie 🫐! The restaurant inside has an old school style, yet it's nostalgic and wonderful regardless.
