We dined at Ocotillo last night and enjoyed a very good experience. The outdoor environment was especially inviting—warm lighting, spacious seating, and large shared tables that created a relaxed, communal atmosphere. The food was a highlight. I come to Ocotillo all the time and the food was mostly great, as usual. Last Friday I brought five friends visiting from out of town and we had a terrible experience with our waiter being rude and borderline aggressive. However, the pasta that three members of our group ordered was extremely spicy despite having asked about it in advance -- so spicy that all three couldn't eat it. That part is not really Ocotillo's fault, but our waiter was incredibly rude and dismissive...

Everything was delicious ! Our party of 8 ordered several of the small plates that were readily shared at table . Two of the large plate entrees - the halibut and pappardelle with pork shank were both top notch. The front patio ambience sustained the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Service was efficient, personable and attentive. All of this made for a special evening with family and friends. Of course we will be back !
