Hands down one of the most authentic taco spots in the valley!! Fresh hand made tortillas, no garbage oils, fresh ingredients and made to order. The staff is great. The bar is great especially from Oct-May/hune. They have an open kitchen. This is hands down one of if not my fav Mexican spots!
Ordered birria tacos and green chicken enchiladas.. great tortillas, amazing sauces and sauce to stuff ratio, perfect seasoning on everything, and the green salsa was fresh and tangy. HOWEVER, the meat in both items was overcooked, especially the chicken.. fix that and its 5 stars. Thanks!
Okay Maguey has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Phoenix! I’ve been here multiple times now and have tried several different things on the menu. I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad bite of food. Everything is absolutely delicious.
The queso with the green salsa is a MUST. I could seriously make a meal out of it. The margaritas are also fantastic, especially the coconut and the blackberry. Both are so good!
