I had great dumplings and spring rolls. Service was OUTSTANDING. The cashier and back of the house staff worked super hard, but with smiles and excellent team chemistry. It was a stark contrast to the unhappy drones I encountered at the bar a few doors down. The people here seemed to care about what they served and did it fast.
Pei Wei in the PHX Airport A gates surprised me. The breakfast croissant was freshly made with crisp bacon, a fresh egg, and a flaky croissant. Only gripe: the $6.50 water. Still, a solid, satisfying airport meal.
For airport food you get what you get, the cashier wasn’t very friendly at first but then seemed to warm up to us. Nice guy with red hair.
The food was better than Panda Express so I was happy, they ran out of fried rice though….. no good!
More seating would be better if they could make it work, lots of people crammed in this area.
All in all not a bad meal, a little pricey but not bad.
