A friend recommended this bakery to me. My first time visiting the Pie Snob for pie. The selections for whole pies was limited compared to individual pies. From what they had in their case, I selected the caramel apple pie. Once home, my first impressions from having a slice is this. The crust is fine. It holds up well, and is flaky. I love their pies here but I hate that they close at 6pm. On the days I crave pie they are closed by the time I leave work at 6pm.

I heard Arizona had some good pies, and two popular places in Phoenix were Pie Snob and Mamma Toledo’s The Pie Hole. I also heard a lot about Rock Springs Café in Black Canyon City being good, but they apparently changed owners and the quality went downhill. In the end, I chose to go to Pie Snob, at the Uptown location, and I got 3 slices of pie for around 7 USD each (I think?), including (in the order of my most to least favourite):
