I LOVE this place. I was introduced to it a few months back by some coworkers. I recently stopped and got one after an event in Phoenix and brought a pizza home to share with my mother. She took one bite and fell in love. We moved out here from the Chicago land area in the late 80's. She says this is the best pizza she has found in Arizona. And I agrer.
This place has the best Calzones I've ever had. Huge, filled, and delicious. Pizza and pasta dishes have also been great and I've always finished with a canoli. The prices are as good as the food!
We were there on a slow day to meet with family in the area. He suggested the place and we were not at all disappointed. Apparently we were in on a slow night with no waiter service, but the staff behind the counter took care of us well. Deliciously tasty and warm food with generous portions.
