Stayed in the area , found this location on yelp. Was hungry for bbq and saw it was #1 in the area. We ordered a good variety ( ribs , pulled pork and brisket) all were on the dry side but still edible slathered.with bbq sauce. The pig tail fry things were different, crispy and good, the rest of the sides were lacking. Overall average , did not meet the expectations I had. I would not seek it out but if I was nearby and in the mood for bbq, sure. 3/5

The taste and portions were both very good. One pulled pork sandwich had a little too much fat on It though. It is a place to get food to go as the table seating is nothing to rave about and the place needs a good cleaning and an up date. I might consider them for catering my next event as good Bar B Q is hard to find and I saw several trucks.

We stopped for takeout on a weekday at 4:00. Not busy and great friendly service. We both had 1/2 pork sandwich, Arizona style with topping of green Chiles and a bbq sourcream sauce, and 2 sides. First of all, the bun. Dry, plain, and as standard (cheap) as you can get. I expected better for a $15 meal. Too small for the size needed for a 1/2 pound of meat. The meat itself moist, juicy but no taste on its own. Not seasoned whatsoever prior to smoking it?? The taste of what you eat is from all the toppings/sauces, not the meat itself. Sides of bbq beans were runny, more mashed than whole beans. The Mac n cheese was dry. No cheesey sauce consistency, must have been all absorbed into the pasta if any to begin with. Disappointed for the entire meal. Possibly bun and side dishes were this way because from lunch time of day but would not order again. Staff was pleasant and quick.

This is seriously the best BBQ I've ever had. The owner is amazing too and it's easy to tell he's involved in his business every single day. The brisket is killer and perfect. I found my new lunch spot ? They deserve every bit of success they get.

I had a 1/3 lb beef brisket, 1 smoked sausage, 2 sides: a corn bread, and green bean. The brisket was moist, a good balance between lean and moist brisket. There are 3 types of BBQ sauces and they are all good. For the side, my favorite would be the green bean. They cooked them real soft with herbs, pepper and oil creating a such savory flavor, pairing well with the brisket. The restaurant was neat. The ambience was relaxed with several tv around. Nice spot for a good food and relaxing lunch. Highly recommended. Will come back to try the pork. See how clean my plate was ?

Food is really good, however, the menu is all over the place and impossible to order from. It's kind of frustrating if your hangry and just trying to order some food quickly.When I finally stepped up to the plate to order, the meat cutter just continued the frustration for me. It's probably because I still didn't understand how to order, and I couldn't hear his soft voice over the loud fans, or maybe it was his sarcastic facial expression, or maybe it was his cocky attitude. Finally I asked the cashier for ketchup, and he gave me one packet.Like I said, the food is decent, but the staff are not helpful at all. Redesign your menu please
Country vibe (country music playing in seating area with huge American flag) makes a great ambiance to enjoy the bbq. The brisket is absolutely fantastic. Paired with the macaroni and corn in a burrito is an amazing experience for the taste buds. The kids at the counter are friendly and walk you through the stations. Great lunch spot!

Used to be very well portion now it's a whole lot less food for more money. When a lion came in they got slower they need to pick up the pace and get those customers out fast some of them only have a half hour for lunch. On this trip over there I would have to say the chicken was better than the brisket and the pulled pork. I think I'll stick to twice a year, just not worth going there more than that

I highly recommend Pork on a Fork to anyone in the Phoenix area. This last visit we had pulled pork sandwiches Mac and cheese baked beans corn and corn bread. It was all done exactly as I would expect. The smoke on the pork was perfect and the meat was moist. The staff was helpful and efficient and ready to make a recommendation. If you are a BBQ enthusiast you won’t be disappointed and if you are an occasional BBQ lover you won’t be disappointed either!
Excellent barbecue! I would recommend trying all 4 of their meat options, hands down. My favorite was the pulled pork with the sausage being a close second. Their mild and sweet sauce blended perfectly with all of their choices. The beans are extra sweet with an awesome smoky flavor and potato salad was wonderful as well. My Husband said the macaroni and cheese was fantastic. It is a little hidden away in an industrial park, but definitely worth it. It looks like a great catering option, so if you have a large crowd then you know where to go.
